I enjoyed reading The Diploma Nurse Her Shining Day, Her Fading Touch. The historical parts were very interesting. Very well written.
A slice of American history that is warmly and wonderfully told by one who experienced it. The Diploma Nurse will soon be gone, but thanks to this book they will not be forgotten.
Well written book about a subject near and dear to my heart.

This is a clearly written account of becoming a Diploma Nurse in the 1950's in Southern Illinois, and the life Jessie lived as a nurse until retirement.
