This book was definitely delivered, Michelle and Aaron were great characters to read about and the whole flow of the book was dark, gritty and very sexy. My only disappointment; getting to the end of the book. Can't wait to read the next installment and see what happens to Michelle and Aaron.

Travis Luedke writes like a woman... and I mean that in the most complimentary way! If you have followed my reviews, then you know I have historically steered clear of male erotic or romance authors, but over the past year, I have become less discriminating and given more books written by men a shot and I'll be the first to admit, I have not been disappointed. But that's not really what this review is about, so... back to the matter at hand, the book!

THE NIGHTLIFE NEW YORK is chocked full of naughty characters and I mean naughty in every sense of the word - dirty cops and pimps who need to be taught a lesson, along with strippers, hookers and pimps and let us not forget the VAMPIRES!

After many years of solitude, Michelle, the French vampire seductress and escort extraordinaire finds herself in a precarious situation when she encounters Aaron, a fragile human male on the verge of death. Does she leave him for dead or help him along into the world of the supernatural? Decisions, decisions... Turning him into a vampire will force an eternal bond and a responsibility to him and their secret world that she is just not sure she is willing to take on. On the other hand, mastering another could certainly has its perks, so, proving she hasn't lost all her humanity, she saves him, while at the same time, bonding him to her for eternity. Michelle and Aaron's journey into the unknown was sexy and exciting to watch as the drama of their new lives together unfolded.

THE NIGHTLIFE NEW YORK proves, true to Travis Luedke's description that "the Nightlife of New York is never boring." Can self-control and indulgence go hand-in-hand? Yes, apparently it can and I am game for a lot more of both! With a bevy of interesting characters and a fantastic story, you are sure to come back for a second helping of what author, Travis Luedke is dishing out - I certainly did!

If you like books written strictly for adults and like authors who are not afraid to write graphic, erotic sex and violence then grab onto this series for a great ride, or should I say read. The Nightlife series delivers a plethora of it all served in the most scrumptious way.

Travel the world with these characters starting in New York, to Las Vegas, Paris, London, onto Moscow on a whirlwind adventure. Author Travis Luedke delivers a wide spectrum of characters that jump at you from the pages insisting you pay attention to every written word. From French speaking, blond bombshell, ruthless vampires and those who love her.

The vampire duo Michelle and Aaron live by one rule, no blood slaves. Yet along comes Anastasia who becomes their pet left behind in Las Vegas. Don't forget a pack of wolves to add excitement and new dimensions to these thrillers.

Travis writes easy to read, fun, entertaining books. He serves them up again and again filled with fantasy offered with a delicious serving of erotica. Sometimes dark and disturbing and always leaving the reader panting for the next in the series.

I am looking forward to reading Nightlife Moscow. You won't be disappointed.
Aaron is a young, naive man working in NYC. He shares an apartment with his childhood friend, Kyle, and moons over the breakup of his relationship with cold-hearted Delia. One night on his way home from work Aaron encounters a beautiful woman being roughed-up by two undercover cops--they think she's a prostitute and want to shake her down for some cash.

When Aaron steps in to defend her, he's shot point blank. The woman, Michelle, collects his body and--out of guilt--does something she promised herself she would never do--she turns him into a vampire, like herself. Now, Michelle must train and care for her subservient vamp, and teach Aaron the way to live in the Nightlife.

Aaron is at first overwhelmed by Michelle, and his transition to vampire-life. He's never had more (or better) sex, and to be strong, virile and more attractive? Tended by a gorgeous master? Oh, and working as an escort where one of his bites thoroughly satisfies his wealthy clientele? Aaron's not sad to step into his new life.

He leaves behind a newly-disgruntled Delia, an envious Kyle and two police officers who want revenge for the butt-kicking Michelle unleashed before they shot Aaron. They are hot on Aaron's tail, and easily led to Michelle due to his remaining connections to humans. Rescuing Michelle awakens a new bloodlust within Aaron that terrifies Michelle, but the couple settle all scores and find completeness and love with their nearly invincible unit.

This is a well-written, fast-paced adventure in adult vampire fiction. Would have liked a bit more proof reading--some typos, homophone issues irked me because I'm a stickler for grammar.... There were some smexytimes, but nothing TOO steamy. I had wished for a bit more detail, in truth. Still, it's a fun contemporary adult paranormal that readers will breeze through.
